Well it feels as though I have actually done a few things thing week. I think my triathlon on Sunday really boosted my motivation to get back on the horse so to speak...
Monday - I recovered
Tuesday - 7km with new iPod and Nike + kit (shoes courtesy of Chris Chapman from Nike and CR Colin, guys - you both rock!!) Time was 42mins including stretching time, average pace was about 5:45 per km which is fantastic for me.
Wednesday - Spin, seems to be getting easier which is good cos the only thing worse than a spin class is a spin class when you are not used to it, they are a killer...
Thursday - Swim, approx 2km in the pool. Boring but necessary, also think I may have pulled a muscle as my shoulder felt weird all Thursday... Did some fun fast stuff and also some kickboard stuff with flippers to work on my legs, pretty good morning in all.
Friday - Spin again, felt even better than Wednesday and I could really feel the improvement from a few months ago. Also about to take Basil the Beagle for a jog along the M7, he loves running with us and he is a pretty good runner too!
Saturday - rest day but will be going to Parramatta Park at 7:30am tomorrow to join the Hills Triathlon Club so I can train during winter with them in preparation for the next triathlon season in September. Will watch their brick session and hopefully turn up to try it next weekend. I would go tomorrow but I have a hair appointment at 10:30 and well a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do after all!! Plus I want to look good, NTR and I have made a deal to have designated date nights each couple of weeks and tomorrow is week one. I wonder if he will try anything???? Hahahahaha.
Sunday - SMC where I will chase CR Thomo around the 10km loop and hopefully not finish too far behind him.
So all in all a busy week, should hopefully help work off the McDonalds I had for dinner tonight - eeek. Not the healthy stuff either but those quarter pounders are just too good to refuse.....
